TSS is an interesting thing, ive read about it in context to running and cycling but have no idea how that reflects with rowing or if the values you would look for in those sports work for rowers – from memoy when using TP I remember trying to get the TSS numbers recommended for cycling using water/erg wouldve put me in a hosiptal! (possibly due to rowing being a higher intensity activity)

    1. So far I have figured out that rowing “watt metrics” (5′, 20′, 60′) do not scale that linear like for biking. Means I fade much stronger with elapsed time.

      100 TSS (=equal to 1h FTP) on bike is significantly less straining then 100 TSS on RowErg. For me it currently looks like 60-70 TSS on RowErg is equal to 100 TSS on bike – for shorter distance stuff.

      But I’m still experimenting with it – out of curiosity. πŸ™‚
